（法新社辛辛那提16日電） 經紀人今天說，擁有4座大滿貫賽冠軍的前球后夏拉波娃（Maria Sharapova），與教練康諾斯（Jimmy Connors）只合作1場比賽即宣告拆夥。

經紀人埃森巴德（Max Eisenbud）證實，女網世界排名第3的夏拉波娃與球員時期拿過8座大滿貫賽冠軍的康諾斯，在辛辛那提名人賽1場比賽後終止合作。

前教練霍格斯泰特（Thomas Hogstedt）為了多點時間與家人相聚、不想陪著四處征戰旅行，與夏拉波娃分道揚鑣，這位俄羅斯女將在溫布頓網賽第2輪出局後，即聘請曾指導羅迪克（Andy Roddick）18個月的康諾斯擔任教練。

夏拉波娃努力治療髖部傷勢，準備參加8月26日起的美國公開賽，當兩人宣布合作時，也顯得很奇怪，因為他倆根本沒時間互相熟悉與磨合。

正因如此，夏拉波娃13日在辛辛那提名人賽第2輪，以6-2、6-7（5/7）、3-6不敵美國的史蒂芬斯（Sloane Stephens）。
