摘要：台南市中西區媽祖樓內有兩對全市僅有的「洗石子」龍鳳柱，是44年前廟宇彩繪師蔡草如與交趾陶大師陳專友的作品，龍柱使用紅、黃、藍等原色礦石製而成，炯炯有神的龍眼則鑲上寶石，鳳凰腳踩粉色牡丹，做工精細，是珍貴的工藝瑰寶。
