【國際中心╱綜合外電報導】「我曾跟哈利王子過了一夜」，35歲的截肢女兵菲爾普（Kate Philp）向媒體大爆與英國鑽石王老五哈利王子的「閨中秘事」，不過當中沒有香艷情節，因為他們是為遠赴南極慈善之旅進行特訓，才會依偎而睡以免凍死。

菲爾普早前跟哈利以及隊友在模擬南極惡劣氣候的環境下受訓，與哈利王子依偎入睡以免失溫凍死，她笑說：「我們還有一名隊友同在，有人鼾聲大作，但我不知是來自誰。」身為陸軍少校的菲爾普更拿哈利開玩笑：「我的軍階比他高，他最好記住我早上喝茶的喜好。」

菲爾普08年在阿富汗服役時遇炸彈襲擊受傷被迫切除左腿，她17日與哈利及隊友啟程往南極，將在零下45°C的嚴寒天氣下，參加徒步334公里慈善步行，為傷兵及家屬籌募教育、醫療經費。
