評估希望不大 巴塞隆納放棄2022冬奧

原本挑戰成為第一個辦過夏季與冬季奧運的城市，但在各方評估過後，被認為希望不大，巴塞隆納也將放棄申辦計劃。

巴塞隆納舉辦過1992年夏季奧運，被認為史上較成功的幾屆奧運之一，不過因為馬德里已經三度爭辦奧運失敗，連帶使巴塞隆納被懷疑，是否還要往冬季奧運的方向努力？

原本認為馬德里失敗後，更有全力衝刺的本錢，巴塞隆納市長Xavier Tiras表示，在IOC（國際奧會）與西班牙政府相關人員評估過後，卻認為目前無法爭取到2022年冬奧承辦權。

不過Tiras透露，他前往IOC在洛桑總部尋求意見後，認為這些回應不是批評，而是一種建議，IOC是給予巴塞隆納更多機會爭取。

Tiras說：「我們要有更縝密的計劃，並與政府單位取得更多共識，要贏得2022年承辦權是不太妥當，我們應全力集中在2026年的冬季奧運上，以我們城市的地理條件是有優勢的。」
