馬英九總統昨晚前往經濟部水利署視察防災作業，他表示，豪雨目前雖然沒帶來重大災情，未來幾天土石流可能釀災，加上各級學校本周開始上課，各部會與縣市政府必須料敵從寬，預防出現重大災情。

昨晚八點，馬總統臨時決定赴水利署聽取各部會簡報防災作業，行政院長江宜樺、經濟部長張家祝等陪同。

馬總統說，他臨時前來視察水利署，目的在於確定各部會都已上緊發條，發現緊急情況時，各單位已經準備就緒。

馬總統說，現階段各單位要特別注意土石流監測，根據農委會提供的資料，目前全國土石流黃色警戒有一百卅五條，紅色警戒六十九條，兩者應對調，近期都可能釀成災害，必須確實防範。

馬總統指出，康芮帶來的豪雨災害，讓南部蔬菜生產基地受損嚴重，農委會已準備釋出庫存菜平抑菜價。

本周開始各級學校恢復上課，馬總統指示各部會與地方政府注意防災，國防部也表示會提供充足人力支援，已派出六百多人次協助救災。
