知本斜張橋貼近河床 居民憂淤積

潭美颱風過境，台東雖然沒有傳出重大災情，但卻讓住在知本溪附近的居民膽戰心驚，因為原本這座在年底就要完工的斜張橋，水位暴漲，造成土石不斷堆積，和橋的距離越來越近，讓居民十分擔心。

滾滾泥流還在不斷沖刷，潭美颱風過境造成知本溪水位升高，就是這座新建的斜張橋，讓居民非常擔心，因為橋的主體結構距離河面不到兩公尺，如果土石漂流木繼續淤積，洪水無法宣洩，後果不堪設想。

台東縣府兩年前開始興建知本橋，目的是要要紓解知本溫泉區的交通，耗資一億九千萬，預計年底完工。原本高興帶來便利的居民，看到大雨過後的景象，越看越害怕。說是配合居民的需要，在9月1號將會進行清淤工程。但眼看土石泥流還在不斷堆積，居民憂心，清淤只是標不治本。

以後颱風來，他們還得擔心河流蓋過橋面，帶來災害怎麼辦。
