包括Google與Apple在內的公司為智慧手機發展出「預測使用者想要什麼資訊」的技術。個人助理app觀察使用者的網路使用習慣，然後把所有觀察拼湊起來，藉此預測使用者想要什麼資訊。但保護隱私倡議團體認為，這樣是剝奪個人的選擇權。
