休瓦特惜殷雄 親筆謝謝台灣

〔特派記者倪婉君／美國巴爾的摩報導〕「Thanks for your support!」儘管陳偉殷仍在養傷，金鶯教頭休瓦特透過本報，親筆答謝台灣球迷的支持，未來也將和「台灣殷雄」繼續並肩作戰。

從去年殷仔加入金鶯後，休瓦特就對這位「台灣囝仔」很照顧，也不只一次糾正外國媒體，強調殷仔來自台灣，不是中國，也不是日本，更說過「不要再說中華台北，台灣就是台灣」的經典名言。

殷仔也沒讓休總失望，在第1個大聯盟球季就繳出12勝，為金鶯貢獻最多局數，只可惜今年開季不久因右側腹斜肌拉傷，目前待在金鶯春訓基地薩拉索塔復健。

帶人帶心 深得殷仔喜愛

順利的話，殷仔再過幾天可進入傳接球階段，若6月初能開始牛棚練投，6月中即可望在3A投復健賽，然後在7月歸隊。

殷仔也很喜歡休總，「覺得總教練人非常好，除了常找我聊天，也會關心我的家人，像我老婆如果帶小孩來，他都會去抱抱小孩。」

以前在日本職棒時代，殷仔和當時中日隊監督落合博滿相敬如賓，「其實落合監督對我也不錯，只是不會關心家人。」

「因為以前在日職沒有球員眷屬室，也不會有球員帶小孩來，所以不會有機會。」殷仔說，「總教練還會關心我們需要什麼服務，了解了之後，他會幫我們去跟上面爭取，這是跟日本很不一樣的地方，他的老婆也非常好。」

金鶯昨天作客國民球場，比賽因雨延後1小時21分鐘才開打，終場3：9輸球，今天回到巴爾的摩主場再續「環快大戰」。

在殷仔進傷兵後，金鶯曾一度吞下6連敗，但最近8戰5勝3敗，漸趨正常，在美聯東區排名第3，仍具競爭力。
