「洛陽紙貴」這句成語到了波士頓，變成「紅襪票貴」。世界大賽第6戰平均票價，飆破當地新高，剩下3000張票也不多，比過去紀錄少了一半。

為什麼這一場比賽的門票如此搶手？因為大家想看紅襪隊在主場封王。紅襪隊雖然2004年打破「貝比魯斯魔咒」，07年又拿了一次冠軍，但都在客場登頂。他們上次在芬威球場拿冠軍，是1918年的事，遠在95年前。

「這有點像是2004年，紅襪隊主場比賽的那種狂熱，因為大家不曉得，還有沒有這種機會。」波士頓一家票務仲介員、在業界打滾33年的Jim Holzman說，「很像大家來看超級盃(職業美式足球NFL冠軍戰)，只是不用花2000美元買機票、再花1000元住旅館。」

其實，當第5戰開打後，隨著戰況演變，第6戰票價也跟著波動，露天看台座位從開賽時的625美元，漲到900塊。內野最前排的座位，第5戰開賽時賣1400元，當紅襪隊先發投手Jon Lester第8局退場時，變成1900元。

票價漲幅驚人，死忠球迷該如何應對？
