摘要：因應國際燃料成本上漲，加上台電不堪長期虧損，下個月，將要調漲電價，引發不少民眾抱怨。而台電長年虧損，主因只是因為台灣的電價低嗎？民進黨立委李應元，拿出資料表示，台電供需失衡，也是虧損的一大主因，每年買的電比實際需要的電多了25億度，等於多花200多億元；但台電解釋，這屬於線路損失，台電的線損率，在世界各國名列前矛。
