歐普拉為歧視事件道歉 被疑炒新片

歐普拉日前公開控訴在瑞士購物遭種族歧視對待，演變成國際事件，她13日在主演的電影《白宮第一管家》首映紅毯上，態度突然軟化：「我對事件失控的演變感到抱歉。」但她「恰巧」在描繪種族議題電影的宣傳期，利用高影響力控訴受到難以查證的歧視，有炒作之嫌。

歐普拉說瑞士精品店櫃姐以「妳買不起」為由，拒將約114萬台幣的鱷魚包拿給她看。但該名櫃姐日前反擊歐普拉的說法，暗示她說謊，精品店老闆娘也力挺員工，要求對質。

她2005年也指控巴黎的愛馬仕因她的膚色拒絕讓她入店，但當時已近打烊時間，店內並有數組客人，她才被擋下，愛馬仕總裁最後只得公開道歉息事寧人。

她1996年在節目說狂牛症讓她再也不敢吃漢堡，美國牛肉價格就應聲跌到10年新低，遭德州畜牧業提告。她兩度在節目中介紹暢銷書《祕密》，讚揚書中強調正面思考可改變現實的理論，讓一位罹癌觀眾寫信給歐普拉說她決定放棄化療，最後死於2010年。
